EPC – Energy Performance Certificate

An EPC is required by law and must be carried out on a property for sale or rent. The certificate is produced by a Domestic Energy Assessor and is valid for 10 years.

The EPC gives information on the energy efficiency and CO2 emissions of a property using ratings from ‘A’ to ‘G’. ‘A’ being the most efficient and ‘G’ being the least efficient. It can also provide recommendations on how to make your property more energy efficient.
